By having an open-minded and having an educational talk will prevent your teenage child from getting pregnant. It will also eliminate the possibility of sex at a very young age. By conversation, this will educate your child about the various sexually transmitted diseases. This will also make them more cautious about involving in sexual activities. Your teenaged child will be more aware about the consequences. You will also be prepared to take appropriate action.
Today there are many ways for women to avoid teen pregnancy, Contraceptives is one among them. Contraceptive are birth control pills. This is a certain form on pill which is taken by girls who can stop hormone production. These pills can reduce cause ovulation. This is a very useful technique. This will also require the person to take a pill everyday to prevent ovulation. However, it does not eliminate the chances of getting infected or infecting someone else with a sexually transmitted disease.
Though it may be portrayed socially that contraception can completely eliminate the chances of pregnancy, it does not really hold true. With the usage of that, there are still about 3-5% chance of getting pregnant. However, the best practice would be to abstain from such an activity. Abstinence here does not refer to not having sex at all. By abstaining from sexual intercourse, a lot of unwanted births can be prevented. This is probably the best way for avoiding infection through by sexually transmitted diseases and possible infections in the vagina and uterus.
